Meet the Team

Lianne Lewis, BA (Hons), Assessor, Tutor, MHFA

Lianne started her early years career as a childminder where she achieved an outstanding grade from Ofsted.  Lianne has many years experience as an early years practitioner within private day care where she also achieved her degree in Early Childhood Education.

​

Lianne is a qualified and dedicated assessor; she has a passion for supporting practitioners with their professional development from level 2 through to Early Years Teacher.  Alongside her role as an assessor, Lianne also tutors and mentors adult learners. Lianne is a qualified Mental Health First Aider who is able to effectively support students and practitioners during times of personal stress and anxiety.

Lianne is a Cambridge (Godmanchester) based professional who also provides services for practitioners based in Surrey. 

Deborah Sawh, BA (Hons), EYPS, IQA​

Deborah is an Early Years Teacher, a qualified assessor and Internal Quality Assurer.  She has many years experience working in the private sector as a practitioner and manager and she remains active in managing a day nursery in Surrey.

​

Deborah is committed to supporting practitioners with their Continual Professional Development through mentoring, tutoring and professional discussion.

Nihala Zaidi, BA (Hons), EYPS, Assessor​

Nihala has many years experience in early years as a practitioner and manager where she has provided services for children aged 0 - 5 years of age.  Nihala is a qualified assessor who has a passion for mentoring practitioners as they progress with their careers.

​

Nihala's current role is in managing quality or provision for Infants and Toddlers using the Infant and Toddler Environment Rating Scales.

​

Nihala also has a passion for supporting Emotional Literacy for children and staff alike.

Roy Sawh, Tutor, MHFA​

Roy is responsible for delivering Health and Safety training and Fire Awareness training.  Roy is a retired Fire Officer who has over 32 years experience within the London Fire Brigade.  He delivers training with passion and humour ensuring that practical aspects of health and safety are observed using common sense as a framework for application.

​

Roy has many years experience of working within the childcare sector and in managing health and safety aspects of early years provision.  Roy is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider and he uses his knowledge, experience and sensitivity to support the emotional well-being of the practitioners with whom he works.
